Yes, he has frizzy red, long hair, he is very small and not the most manly man, but he is an inspiration. He doesn’t care enough about what the school bullies do to keep him from expressing himself the way he wants to.
I really feel like you can be the Brett Loewenstern of your kitchen. Don’t listen to that inner voice of “you’re not good enough”. Start small and build.
Brett, good luck to you. I wish I could serve him my shrimp dish tonight.
Shrimp Stir Fry:
2 cups shrimp,steamed and peeled
2 cups broccoli florets, steamed slightly (some of it taken from my kids plate after they wouldn’t eat it)
8 oz small cubed tofu
1/4 cup chopped or whole peanuts
1-2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp hot sauce like sriracha or Chinese garlic-chili sauce
2 tsp sesame oil (separated)
In a medium sized frying pan, heat up one tsp sesame oil and toss in the cooked shrimp, broccoli and tofu. Heat up until warm, a few minutes, stirring all the while.
Add in the soy sauce, hot sauce and remaining sesame oil. Stir until coated and top with the peanuts and sesame seeds.
Serve with brown rice or noodles. Yum!
