Are Your Kids Honest With You About Your Cooking?

Hi everyone! Today I ask the age old question: Should our kids tell us they would prefer not to eat their dinner or should they just be polite (and quiet) and eat it?

In the never before seen video, my own daughter voted against me on a cooking show! See how it turned out, however….

How would you have handled this situation? Would you have commended your child’s honesty or would you have declared, as Tony Soprano would have, “Never go against the family!”?

Please comment and let us know…..

  1. Honesty! Because using the red/green card is actually quiet…too bad you can’t use those at home. Ilah rocks! So does Mommy, knocking that chef’s sugar garnish out of the park!

  2. Thanks, ladies! I might have frowned upon the honesty if I hadn’t won so I am very glad I did! I am actually proud that she felt she could be honest.

  3. What a great video! I love that you won with a cake that people can actually make at home instead of an over-the-top cake ball that I would never even attempt because of all the steps. And I want honesty… most of the time. 🙂

  4. I vote for honesty. But I do think she was just saving face for your competitor. Her compassion may just outweigh her honesty. That’s a good thing too 🙂
